Walk 7 - Great Peatling Lodge Farm to Orkney Way via Reed
Pool Spinney
Approx 1 ½ miles - (About ¾ hour)
A fairly straight forward walk along the edge of open fields. This joins up Walk 5 and Walk 6 into a nice round trip.
Cross the stile and approach Reed Pool Spinney. The spinney is not accesible to the public, but I've not worked out if there is a way you can get permission to visit (let me know if you do!!).
The path hugs the edge of fields all the way back to Countesthorpe in a fairly straight line. To the left the path will start to move closer to the River Sence. The fields are a mix of open pasture and crops or ploughed.
At the end of the mile and a half walk, you will come to a bridge across the river. Cross here and walk through the final field back to Orkney Way or Skye Way.
