A somewhat delayed and short bulletin this month, due to leaving the country for a well earned break. Hope you all managed to avoid those family arguments during the festive period?
I won't hark on, but here is a picture of where we spent our New Year's Eve - Byron Bay in Australia (about an hour south of Brisbane). The most beautiful beach I've ever been too.

A quick well done to Pete at the Axe and Square. With telephone company "3" looking for a site for a mast, they got permission from Punch Taverns, but licensee Pete was having none of it!!! I can't say I know they health issues around these masts, but quite right, we do not need an eyesore in the middle of the village. Well done to all for getting the application rejected.
Something I came across in the Mercury was an article about the Make A Wish organisation
They arrange wonderful things to happen to children with illness or in need of some happiness. It may only be a new television (a 52" plasma in the article I read) or a trip to see dolphins etc. but it makes all the difference to these children.
If you know someone who could benefit, have a look at the Make A Wish website.
All your kind words and thoughts on how to develop this website are gratefully received and not forgotten. I hope to add a few interesting areas over the next year, I tried a forum once before, with no great success, but I may try again (drop me a note if you think you would find a use for it....contacting old friends, geneaology etc?).
Any suggestions will be thought through and developed if I can!!
