Whats happened to the Herald News website??

For the last few months, it's looks like the Herald has not had a website (www.heraldnews.ndirect.co.uk). Despite a few emails, I've had no reply so not sure if they are redeveloping or just closed the site down.

If anyone knows, drop me a note

Chat Room Silent

Ah well, there seems no one wants to talk in the chat room (sniff), so I've taken it off the site for now. I may try and reinstate in later when I've a bit more time to promote it properly.

Focus On Websites

This isn't the only website in the village, so I thought I'd bring a few sites to your attention.

Countesthorpe Health Centre (www.countesthorpe.clara.net)

The Health Centre site gives some great information on how to make emergency appointments, surgeries, ordering prescriptions and it looks like you can order repeat prescriptions online.

The news is a bit out of date, but if we all start using the site I'm sure it will be updated regularly. Good site

Countesthorpe Community College (www.countesthorpe.leics.sch.uk)

Looks like this has been recently revamped and contains lots of useful stuff on the college. Includes a virtual tour of the complex.

Countesthorpe Allotments (www.cthorpeallotments.co.uk/index.html)

I like this site, a great one for the gardening enthuiasts and some nice recipes to boot!!

Have a good look around these web site . They are wonderful sites built by people in your community. If you have a site you want me to feature, drop me a note.
