I don't know a great deal about this scheme, but youth matters aims to support youth groups and give young people a voice in developing facilities. It's to help them find things to do.
The Every Child Matters website maybe of interest to you or your community. Maybe it will inspire the young guya and girls to set up something of interest to them?
This is the sort of initiative our councils should be pushing to resolve the negative issues around kids being kids!! Contact them direct or speak to the Leisure Team at Blaby Council ,I'm sure they would know more about helping.

If you are going from Countesthorpe, why not (instead of driving), don your walking boots and try the easy cross fields walk from Orkney Way to Foston (half an hour) . On a crisp winters day it's a lovely walk with beautiful views of Countesthorpe, over to Peatling Magna and acrooss to Wigston.
Just a reminder, if you are interested in sports, why not look at my Recreation and Leisure page . Especially with Winter coming on, it's time to excercise!!!
I'm sure I've missed loads of clubs and activities, so if you would like listing, please email me
